Saturday, 19 Oct 2013, I had the opportunity to attend the Arizona Survivalist/Prepper Expo in Mesa, Arizona
Overall, a worthwhile time for those familiar with Survivalist/Prepper activities, but could be overwhelming for someone that is unfamiliar with this mindset. Most of the food storage companies I am familiar with were there. Got a chance to sample some of their products, which were quite tasty.
My main objective was to locate business’ that were local and get a chance to put my hands on some of their products. I enjoy the chance to actually touch and hold something before I buy it, even if I end up ordering the product over the internet. For a $10 entrance fee, I was able to do just that and have a couple of places that I plan on visiting over the next few months.
